VSTEP Practice

Your Personal VSTEP Study Plan in the App: Setup and Use

Updated:

Quick answer: The VSTEP Practice app builds a study plan from your target (B1, B2 or C1), your exam date and how many minutes a day you can study. Each day, "Today's plan" suggests specific tasks, focusing on your weak parts; the plan speeds up as the exam gets closer and the final week focuses on full mock tests.

Set it up in a minute

  1. Choose a target: B1, B2 or C1.
  2. Choose your exam date: if you don't have one yet, pick an expected date and change it later.
  3. Choose your daily time: for example 20, 40 or 60 minutes.
  4. Turn on reminders for the time you're usually free.

How "Today's plan" works

Keep your streak

Finish each day's plan to keep your study streak. 30 minutes every day works far better than one long session at the weekend.

Combined with smart review

Missed questions go into your spaced-repetition schedule, so each day's plan mixes new work with reviews. Hearts for hints and explanations refill every day; invite friends to earn extra hearts and free days of VSTEP Pro.

Just installed the app? Take one full mock test first so the app knows your starting point; after that the plan's suggestions become more accurate.
